After realising his income couldn't be dependent on the weather, and choosing instead to pursue farming as a hobby, Tom decided to play to his strengths...

In July-2023 Tom began offering his skillset to SMB's around Perth. Consulting as a freelance Data-Analyst & Automation specialist.

Through discovery, trial & error, project deliveries, feedback from clients & many long-nights. The Service Offering Evolved. 

Throughout the two years as a freelancer, Tom's approach, experience & processes have evolved into quite a high-value skillset. A skillset that all businesses increasingly have a need for, but most SMB's simply lack the staff or the dedicated know-how.

Larger businesses that do have dedicated Data-Analysts, are often lacking capacity or not practicing the simple-approach that ADP's clients appreciate.

To begin the engagement process, we'll generally just meet via Teams or a Coffee chat (Perth).

Following that, if everyone thinks it makes sense, a morning visit is scheduled (2-5hrs). 

The in-person visit consists of multiple short, ad-hoc meetings with different members of staff.

We mostly listen here, trying to conceptualise the Workflows & Dataflows within the Business.

Following the visit, we;

1. Present you with a list of projects that we consider worth everyone's time.
2. Request & receive Sample datasets, to build a draft Dashboard or Report.
3. Sometimes build 1-2 simple email trigger type automations. And explain the concepts behind them.

Then if you'd like our help to continue automating & analysing, we do so on a no lock-in monthly retainer.
